The Muffuletta reigns supreme as the definitive Italian-American contribution to the world-famous New Orleans food landscape. Invented by Italian immigrants in the French Quarter in the early 1900’s, the Muffuletta holds a special place in the pantheon of New Orleans classics, right next to Po-boys, Gumbo, Red Beans and Boiled Crawfish.

The first King Cakes were introduced to New Orleans as far back as 1718, and in the 300 years since, have become synonymous all over the world with the Big Easy and Mardi Gras. Now produced all-year-round, the Gambino Bakery has been making tens of thousands of these classics every year since 1946!
